HB Public Law is an innovative and ambitious Lexcel accredited legal practice serving four local authority clients, schools and other public bodies in London and the home counties. We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality service and offer a supportive and friendly working environment.
About YouThe successful candidate will take pride in delivering a high-quality service both individually, and as part of a team. The team has an interesting and varied caseload dealing with all areas of housing and civil litigation matters including the following:
- Housing possession, disrepair and ASB injunctions
- Homelessness and allocations, judicial review, statutory appeals and public law challenges
- Debt recovery
- Contractual disputes
- Property litigation, covering both residential and commercial property issues
- Dispute resolution
- The opportunity to advise licensing (sub)-committees
Applications are welcomed from newly qualified lawyers as well as experienced housing or civil litigation lawyers. The role is a career graded post encompassing grades G10, G11 and MG1 and internal applications for advancement to the next grade are usually considered on an annual basis.
