Job Description:

£51,801 - £59,724 per annum pro rata
 
18.5 Hours Per Week

To provide high quality and solution focused legal services to the Council, schools and other clients in one of the following areas:
  • Safeguarding – Children and Adults
  • Commercial & Regeneration (including property, planning and contracts)
  • Litigation (including civil, criminal & education)

To be able to provide advice on legal matters affecting local authorities, including local authority governance where appropriate. 

To ensure best value and appropriate use of public resources in the provision of advice

To support the Principal Lawyer for the team in delivering a high quality, effective and efficient legal service in the relevant area.

To be a trusted advisor and build strong professional relationships with key service areas. 

To supervise, support and develop more junior colleagues as required.
