Job Description:

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Principal Planning and Licensing Lawyer to join a Local Government Legal team in London.

This is an excellent position for someone who has licensing experience who is looking for a locum position on a part-time basis. The post is for 3 days per week, but candidates who want full-time hours will also be considered.

The role will involve attending Licensing Committee as as well as advising on licensing policy matters. The successful candidate must have licensing experience, and ideally a background in planning law. The role will involve some management and supervision, as well as getting involved in high-value and interesting matters.

The successful Principal Planning and Licensing Lawyer will need to attend the office once per week for a fixed team day.

If you have senior or principal lawyer level experience, then this might be the ideal post for you. Please apply as soon as possible to ensure you don't miss out. As this is a locum post for 3-6 months initially, our client is ideally looking for candidates who are available to start work on short notice.
