Sellick Partnership is pleased to be recruiting for an Employment Lawyer to join a large and reputable Public Sector Organisation in the North West.
As Employment Lawyer, you will be covering the full range of Public Sector Employment matters, which may include:
- To advise on a range of non-contentious and, if appropriate, contentious employment matters including TUPE, pensions, employment contracts, termination issues, disciplinary & grievance procedures, severance, compromise agreements, policies & HR procedures, staff handbooks, redundancies, dismissals, breach of contract claims, maternity & sick pay issues, discrimination issues, health and safety and Employment Tribunals.
- To advise upon, negotiate, draft, and interpret a wide variety of employment and employment related agreements and documents.
- To work with external solicitors in relation to, and as necessary assist in or advise in relation to, Employment Tribunals.
This role would be suited to a Qualified Solicitor who is confident dealing with a mixed Employment caseload with minimum supervision. The successful candidate may be required to attend Courts or Tribunals. Our client is looking for someone to attend the office at least two days per week, so this role would suit an Employment Lawyer who can get to the offices in the Greater Manchester Region. The position is a full-time role.
The ideal Employment Lawyer will come from a public sector background, although candidates with relevant experience in private practice are encouraged to apply if relevant experience is demonstrated.
