Job Title: Private Client Legal Director/Partner
Location: Leeds City Centre
About the firm: Seeking an entrepreneurial Private Client Lawyer to take on a leadership role in a growing team and to lead the private client offerings in the Yorkshire market. This role would suit an ambitious Senior Associate/Legal Director with partnership aspirations or a lawyer already operating at the partner level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex private client matters, including wills and probate, trusts, estate planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Capital Gains tax.
- Provide high-level, strategic legal advice to High-Net-Worth individuals, business owners, families, and landed estates.
- Advise clients on sensitive issues, often requiring discretion, empathy, and an understanding of clients' financial and personal goals.
- Take ownership of team management and ensure high standards of service and performance across the private client team.
- Mentor and develop junior lawyers and fee earners, offering guidance, coaching, and support to foster professional growth.
- Lead by example, maintaining the firm's values and fostering a collaborative, client-centric team culture.
- Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring continued satisfaction and retention of business.
