Senior Civil Litigation Solicitor

Rochdale, Greater Manchester (Local Authority role)

6-12 month contract

Hourly rate negotiable

The role is hybrid although fully remote candidates will be considered subject to experience

RBC are looking to recruit a locum on a 6-12 month contract who can cover all areas of Civil Litigation including:-

• Local authority experience essential
• Judicial Review matters relating to a broad range of challenges including SEND challenges, adult social care charging
• Property Litigation – including dilapidations, injunctions, forfeiture and nuisance claims
• Property and Housing Disputes in the 1st and 2nd Tier Tribunals - including disputed Housing Improvement Notices and civil penalties notices
• Advising on the impact of tenant insolvency.
• Commercial Litigation
• Contractual Disputes
• Employment Disputes
• Debt and Fee recovery

The candidate will need to demonstrate 5 years plus of relevant post qualification experience and will need to be a Solicitor, Cilex or Barrister with appropriate litigation rights to conduct litigation.

Candidate will work within a team of 5 qualified solicitors and 1 legal officer.
