Planning Lawyer - St Albans (Local Authority role)
Initial 3-6 month contract
Hourly rate: Negotiable
Working Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week (Part-time 3 days considered)
Working arrangements: At Civic Centre. Hybrid working (to be agreed)
Other requirements: required to attend meetings held at the offices of partner councils or other locations outside normal office hours.
Specific Requirements:
- Degree or other equivalent level qualification Law, or with significant practical professional experience in Possession of or entitlement to relevant practising certificate in Planning
- Qualified solicitor/barrister/Fellow of Chartered Institute of Legal Executives
- To deal with S106 agreement
- Planning Application
- Experience of BNG, Green Belt, Large Housing development
- Experience in liaising with clients as well as providing a focal point of contact for planning applications
