Job Description:

Venn Group have been instructed on an Interim Senior Democratic Services Officer position on behalf of a local authority in the North West.
 
This role will support statutory and non-statutory committees, scrutiny, decision making, and member development, while contributing to the wider Governance 360 improvement programme. Depending on experience, there may be the option for the successful candidate to partake in more Health and Adult Social Care governance.
 
Start: ASAP (can accommodate notice periods)
Duration: 3-month rolling contract, extremely likely to be longer term
Working Arrangement: Full-time, ideally 1-2 days per week on-site
Rate: £35-40 per hour, umbrella
