Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor

Fully Remote - £60+ per hour - ASAP Start

A Local Authority in the North West is seeking an experienced Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor to join their legal services team on an interim basis.

This is a fully remote role, offering an excellent hourly rate and the opportunity to work on a varied and meaningful caseload within a supportive local government environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of Adult Social Care matters, including:

  • Care Act 2014 issues

  • Mental Capacity Act matters

  • Court of Protection work

  • Safeguarding and related advisory work

• Providing clear legal advice to social services and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive

• Proven experience working within Adult Social Care for a Local Authority

• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting

• Availability to start ASAP

• £60+ per hour (dependent on experience)

• Fully remote working

• 6 month rolling contract
