A Local Authority in the North West is seeking an experienced Locum Planning & Highways Solicitor to join their legal team on an interim basis.

Key Details

• Start: ASAP

• Working arrangement: Predominantly remote

• Attendance: On-site attendance required once per month for committee meetings

• Caseload: Mixed Planning & Highways matters

• Contract: 3 month rolling

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload covering planning and highways work, providing legal advice and support to officers and elected members. Committee attendance will be required once a month, with all other work carried out remotely.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Solicitor with Local Authority experience

• Strong background in Planning and Highways law

• Confident advising at committee level

• Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
