Job Description:

Civil Litigation Lawyer - West Northamptonshire (Local Authority role)

Initial 3-6 month contract

Rate: Umbrella, negotiable

 

37 hours per week

 

We are looking for a full time Criminal Litigation Lawyer to deal with the following.

  • Representing the Council in criminal prosecutions and other proceedings in the Magistrates' Court, as well as proceedings involving the Council before the First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber).
  • Attend Licensing committees as required and advising panel members.
  • Advising client departments, primarily regulatory enforcement areas
  • Supervising small number of unqualified colleagues will be required
