Sellick Partnership are pleased to be working with a well-esteemed County Council in the South East to assist in recruiting a Data Protection Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.
About the Data Protection Officer role:
- Start ASAP
- 5 month contract
- Hybrid working- 2 days per week in-office
- Full time- 37 hours per week
Key responsibilities of the Data Protection Officer:
- Work in compliance with the Council's duties in relation to data management and information governance
- Review and redact information in line with data protection legislation
- Responding to Subject Access Requests
Qualities of the Data Protection Officer:
- Knowledge and understanding of data protection, SARs and some knowledge of Freedom of Information
- Organisational and time management skills
