Commercial Property Lawyer

Nottinghamshire (Local Authority role)

Initial 3-6 month contract

Rate: Umbrella, negotiable

We have a need for interim cover for a commercial property solicitor required from 28th July for up to 3 months, while we recruit to the role on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have a strong background and experience acting for local authorities in both freehold and leasehold land transactions and be capable of managing a busy case list.

The work will include handling land disposals, some acquisitions, advising on commercial landlord and tenant cases which may be link to school sites and vesting declarations.

The role is hybrid however occasional office attendance will require for office based tasks when managing legal completions and inspecting deeds etc.

We can be flexible with the working pattern and hours however we are looking for minimum of 25hrs per week ideally over 5 days (including Monday)

Please do not submit anyone that has not been or isn't a current solicitor with a current practicing certificate this candidate will be rejected if they do not meet the requirements above.

Candidates should not be working on multiple assignments for the same duration.
