Property Lawyer

Westmorland & Furness (Local Authority role)

Initial 3-6 month contract

Rate: Umbrella, negotiable

37 hours per week

Job location: flexible, can be office based, hybrid or remote

Experience as a Property Lawyer and have a good working knowledge in:

• Freehold and Leasehold Acquisitions and Disposals
• Leasehold transactional documents, including licences to assign, underleases, licences to alter.
• Option Agreements, Overage Agreements and Easements.
• Charity and Trust Law relating to Property transactions.
• Right to Buy transactions and relevant Housing legislation.
• Reviewing registered and unregistered titles and drafting Reports on Title.
• Providing legal advice and other relevant legal services to support strategic planning, policy formation, projects, corporate governance, decision making, review and scrutiny
