Locum Education/SEN Solicitor
Local Authority – London Borough
3 months initially
Up to £65 per hour umbrella

Panoramic Associates is delighted to recruit an experienced Locum Education/SEN Solicitor for our client, a London-based Local Authority. This is an initial 3-month contract with the potential for extension, subject to permanent recruitment. We’re looking for a candidate with a robust background in Education and SEN law to join this full-time role. Advocacy is not required, and the position offers the flexibility of fully remote working—making it an ideal opportunity for the right individual.

Role Overview:
  • Duration & Flexibility: 3-month contract, full time hours, with fully remote working considered
  • The Role: Primarily advising schools on general education and SEN matters, with some judicial reviews. Advocacy isn’t required, as they have barristers to handle that aspect.
  • Rate: £50-£65 per hour, depending on experience
 
Essential Criteria:
  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Barrister (non-qualified lawyers with significant relevant experience also considered).
  • Prior Local Authority experience in preferred but not essential providing you have a strong background in Education/SEN law
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
