A Yorkshire-based local council is seeking a skilled professional to support their adult social care team on a 3-month rolling contract, with a competitive daily rate.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated professional with expertise in adult social care, who can effectively manage cases, provide high-quality assessments, and ensure compliance with statutory frameworks. This role offers the chance to make a real impact while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and reviews in line with the Care Act 2014
- Develop and implement care and support plans tailored to individual needs
- Work collaboratively with service users, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and council policies
- Provide professional advice and guidance on adult social care matters
Requirements
- Experience in adult social care, ideally within a local authority setting
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, safeguarding protocols, and social care legislation
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the team
- Social Work England registration (if applicable)
