Locum Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer

South Yorkshire

Remote working

Rate: £55- 60 p/hr

Start date: As soon as possible

Sellick Partnership are working with a highly reputable Local Authority in South Yorkshire who are seeking Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join their friendly team for an initial 6 month period with a strong view for extension.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced local authority lawyer to join a friendly and supportive team.

The duties of this role will involve;

  1. To provide high quality. timely legal and commercial advice to the Council
  2. Advising on public procurement and the new regulations
  3. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contract
  4. Supporting with the delivery projects, and handling construction contracts
  5. Dealing with grants and other commercial documents
