We are currently working with a Legal 500 ranked firm in London who is looking to recruit an Employment Police Federation Solicitor to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive employment and discrimination law advice to senior officials within a prominent organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-stage legal analysis of employment claims and requests for advice, funding, and support, producing clear and comprehensive written reports to assist in funding determinations.
- Support the Claims Department in managing claims and relationships with panel solicitors.
- Assist in implementing a legal strategy to ensure a consistent approach to the provision of legal advice and support.
- Offer in-house advice and representation on employment matters to HR and on civil and cost matters as required.
Candidate Profile:
- Three years of post-qualification experience in employment and discrimination law.
- Strong drafting and written communication skills.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities.
- Enthusiastic, committed, and professional approach to improving the legal knowledge and skills of fee-earners within the team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels and embody the organization's values.
- A desire to be involved in developing the practice and engaging in constant innovation and improvement.
