Job Description:

We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority in the North West, who are recruiting for a Planning Lawyer on a locum basis for 3-months with potential for extension.

The role has potential to be conducted remotely, and offers an hourly rate in the region of £55 p/hour UMB subject to PQE.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Handling a mixed caseload of planning, highways and enforcement matters, including planning and enforcement advice, planning committee attendance and governance support, and preparing planning agreements
  • Drafting and advising s.106 agreements, CIL, certificates of lawful use and advising on other planning related matters
  • Advising on, drafting and completing highways agreements, including deeds of dedication and footpaths orders
  • Offering support to more junior members of the team

  • Up to 37-hours available
