With an extremely diverse population, we pride ourselves that Leicestershire is a highly inclusive and vibrant place to live and work.

Leicestershire is home to three leading universities and a number of large prestigious companies.  With major attractions, a rich history and beautiful countryside to explore, tourism is our second fastest growing industry.

Leicestershire County Council
We serve the non-metropolitan parts of Leicestershire providing services to more than 690,000 residents every day.

Leicestershire County Council has long been recognised as one of the highest performing Councils in the Country.  Whether we are delivering social care, fixing the roads, or helping to boost the local economy, we strive to make a positive difference for the people of Leicestershire.

The Council is highly rated by staff as a trusting and flexible employer. The Council is also nationally recognised for its commitment to equality and diversity.
