We are looking for a highly motivated lawyer who is a confident team player, who is creative and with a problem-solving approach. You will be able to work under pressure and will thrive in a post responsible for a high volume of interesting and varied work within a supportive and friendly team which is growing.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality advice and dealing with a caseload that is predominantly related to housing disrepair but with the scope to develop and include anti-social behaviour work, general housing related advice and Homelessness and Allocations advice.

You will work within a friendly and collaborative team of ten colleagues, in a supportive environment where your professional development will be nurtured and appreciated.

You will be an integral part of our award-winning Legal Team which is made up of up 50 colleagues across five different legal sub-teams, each delivering their own area of expertise.

You will be an experienced and confident litigator and advocate. You will be a positive, highly motivated individual who is innovative and works collaboratively. You will be a strong communicator with excellent analytical skills and enjoy the challenge of high quality work that makes a difference.

Experience in all areas is not essential and support will be provided. A can-do attitude, being flexible and solutions focussed and a desire to develop are key attributes.

Experience may have been gained in private practice or another public organisation.

You should hold a current practising certificate, qualifying you to practice in England as a Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with litigation rights, with at least 5 years PQE.
