£62,840 per annum
We have a vacancy for a newly created role of Legal Manager – Adult Safeguarding & Education.
Our vacancy would be suitable for qualified lawyers with relevant experience. Applications from those with local government or private sector experience are welcomed.
A comprehensive induction programme will be given to new colleagues including any additional support for those wishing to make a move from the private to public sector.
Interviews will take place on a rolling basis until candidates are appointed.
Our Team Structure
Our Legal Service is made up of 5 teams: (1) Legal Practice; (2) Commercial; (3) Child Safeguarding; (4) Adult Safeguarding & Education; and (5) Regulatory. The Legal Practice Team provides an administrative and supportive ‘hub’ for the legal teams.
Our Vacant Post
You would provide leadership and support to your team, with a focus on delivering specialist advice and representation in a range of relevant areas including: adult safeguarding, mental health, education matters including SEND, funding for both social care and mental health aftercare, together with advice and guidance on policy issues.

Our Carbon Net-Zero 2030 Action Plan
