What You’ll Be Doing Join Camden's dynamic Legal Services team, where you’ll play a critical role in breaking down barriers while embracing a risk-aware approach. You'll engage with senior officers and Members to offer high-quality legal services, with a focus on social justice. Collaborate closely with various service directorates to ensure efficient delivery of Council priorities, all while managing a personal caseload that includes high-profile and complex cases. Become a trusted advisor, advocate, and problem solver as you contribute to Camden's vision of innovative, responsive legal solutions.

We’re looking for a legal professional with experience in at least one of the areas of the team. You will have demonstrable knowledge of law and procedure in the areas of work of the team and have demonstrable experience of running simple legal cases. You will have experience in drafting legal documents and reviewing client statements. You will have excellent IT skills including the use of case management systems. An ability to be very organized and juggle competing demands is essential.
You will have excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit, you’re ready to engage with our clients and stakeholders. Your proactive nature and creative mindset will help shape the future of legal services in Camden.
