£24,799 per annum plus flexible benefits of up to £1783 per annum

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Trainee Solicitor to join our legal team. This fantastic opportunity would suit somebody who is looking to further their career within local government and gain an understanding of local government law across a wide range of disciplines. You will gain practical legal experience in a variety of disciplines including property, procurement and litigation.

The successful candidate will support the Head of Legal Services and Director of Legal and Democratic Services to provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective legal service to the Council as well as supporting lawyers in handling cases. 

The Council offers in return a generous flexi time scheme with the ability to take two flexi days a month, membership of the local government pension scheme, discounted health and leisure membership, plus many more excellent benefits.

Please note this is a 2 year fixed term contract.
