We are growing and looking to build our successful Commercial ICT and Data team and welcome applications from ICT and Data Senior Associates who also have contract law and procurement law experience. The Team

Our Technology solicitors advise organisations across the public, private and third sectors on a wide range of major and complex technology projects including IT and business process outsourcing and enterprise resource planning systems. Our team advises on digital transformation projects, managed IT service contracts, telecommunications projects, hardware refresh projects, software licensing projects, support and maintenance contracts, website design contracts, software as a service and other cloud solutions, including the use of the G-Cloud Framework. They also advise on innovative technologies including the use of automation, and artificial intelligence.

Our Data solicitors advise organisations across the public, private and third sectors on a wide range of issues related to data protection and freedom of information compliance. Our expertise in the public sector means we also frequently advise on compliance with the Freedom of Information Act, the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) and similar legislation.

Your responsibilites will include:

About you:

  • Qualified solicitor or recognised foreign equivalent/ILEX
  • Up to date knowledge of and experience in Commercial ICT and Data and practice
  • Act as a subject matter expert with accountability for direction on technical issues in Commercial ICT and Data
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct and other regulatory requirements

Desirable

  • Ability to lead negotiations on behalf of clients, where appropriate
