Do you have a proven track record of working in a busy and dynamic environment, providing legal advice and conducting case work in relation to childcare law? If so, we might have your next big challenge.
You will be part of a brilliant, fast-paced legal team, providing legal advice and conducting case work, predominantly in relation to public childcare law to our Children’s Services team.
We are looking for an experienced senior solicitor or barrister who has:
- Experience of supervising/managing staff or be prepared to develop these skills;
- Experience of advocacy or genuinely wants to develop advocacy skills;
- Good knowledge and experience of children’s social care law and practice;
- The ability to work with minimum supervision and meet deadlines;
- Up-to-date knowledge of public childcare law and of forthcoming changes;
- An understanding of the public sector ethos;
- A friendly and helpful approach along with good communication skills.
