Salary package: £76,794 – £81,465 (Grade CB5)

Are you a commercial lawyer with local government experience looking for a new challenge? If so, we are looking for a Principal Contracts Lawyer with proven expertise in procurement law.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic Principal Contracts Lawyer with a “can do” approach and an ability to manage a busy team of lawyers and support staff. You will have your own varied caseload consisting of strategically significant procurements. You will work closely with colleagues across the Council to ensure the Contracts Team is providing a top class, efficient service. You will need excellent leadership skills to drive performance and get the best out of people. You will also need to have the ability  to support students and apprentices at the start of their careers.
