Job Description:

About you:
Are you legally qualified, with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience, and looking for an in-house role where you can see your problem-solving having a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of vulnerable older people and the staff who support them?

Are you hard-working, clear-thinking under pressure, keen to adapt your legal skills and knowledge to new areas, and able to communicate and explain the law clearly to non-lawyer colleagues?

Are you known for your personal and professional integrity, whilst also being pragmatic and commercial in how you apply legal principles?
Do you long to work in a friendly, and supportive company where your talents are nurtured, your values respected, and where there is a unique opportunity for career progression?

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you to come and join our like-minded team!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Legal Adviser to join our Central Support team based in Cardiff. The post holder will report to the Head of Legal & Risk, and will play a key role in developing the Legal & Risk team in the years ahead.

About us:
Caron Group is a family of care homes across mid and south Wales. Our ethos is to provide quality care and ensure that privacy, dignity and choice for our residents is at the core of everything we do. We believe rigid structures stifle creativity and our staff are encouraged to think outside the box, bring fresh perspectives….and challenge the status quo!

We are committed to supporting our teams’ continuous professional development throughout their careers, through the provision of formal training and development opportunities. Being a relatively small company, staff are also able to gain exposure and hone their skills in wider business areas and benefit from hands-on mentoring support.
