Locum Prosecutions/Licensing Solicitor – 3 months + – Part Time (20 hours)– Predominantly Remote Working – Up to £60 per hour Umbrella – East of England

Position: Locum Prosecutions/Licensing Solicitor
Organisation: Local Authority in the East of England
Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension thereafter
Working Pattern: Part Time hours (20 hours)
Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote, with occasional Court attendance when required
Hourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have at experience in handling Prosecutions/Licensing matters in Local Authority.

Duties may include:

• Prosecution of cases under the Trademarks Act 1994 and Tobacco Regulations
• Conduct a caseload of Prosecution files to include Animal Licensing, Fly Tipping, Planning Enforcement
• Attend and advise at Planning Committees whilst also responsible for advising Licensing Committees
