Locum Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer A position has arisen for a Locum Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join a public sector organisation based in the South West on an interim basis.
Setup: Remote working
Start/Duration: ASAP - 6 months initial
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Rate: Up to £55ph (Umb)
IR35: Inside
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice to a variety of clients in-house across all directorates
- Working as part of a team on high value contracts disputes
- Handling a variety of contentious matters in procurement law including framework agreements and contracts
- Dealing with complex public law, hig value cases and working to deadlines
- Providing legal and policy advice to clients
- Holding responsibility for contractual litigation, disputes and procurement law cases
- Keeping abreast of legal developments and current thinking on related policy issues
