PLANNING & HIGHWAYS LAWYER | LOCAL AUTHORITY | PERMANENT

I’m currently working with a well-established Local Authority who are looking to bring an experienced Planning & Highways Lawyer into their in-house legal team.

This is a great opportunity for a lawyer looking to join a supportive and well-run legal service, with a broad range of planning and highways work.

The successful candidate will be advising on a variety of matters including planning applications, S106 agreements, highways agreements, enforcement and planning committee work, alongside advocacy and negotiations where required.

They are looking for:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX
• Around 2+ years' recent Planning & Highways experience
• Strong knowledge of planning and highways legislation
• Experience with S106 agreements
• Planning Committee experience
• Highways and planning enforcement experience
• Advocacy experience
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
