Locum Junior Litigation Lawyer (Debt Recovery) – Full time – Remote Working – 3 Months + - £45-55 Umbrella We are working closely with a Public Sector Organisation who are seeking to appoint a Locum Junior Litigation Lawyer to join its team.
This is a full time position (37 hours per week) for an initial duration of 3 months, subject to extension thereafter. Once IT equipment has been collected and in-person induction has taken place, this role can be
fully remote working.
The successful candidate will be a
qualified Solicitor or Barrister with strong working knowledge and experience of handling debt recovery and general civil litigation matters on behalf of a local authority. This role is suitable for someone who is roughly
0-5 years’ PQE.Duties may include:
- Providing Debt Recovery advice as required and managing a full and varied case load of these types of Debt including high value Debts
- Completing Debt Recovery negotiations in a wide range of highly complex statutory Debt Recovery cases
- Issuing court proceedings to recover Debts, drafting court documents and undertaking enforcement proceedings against judgment debtors
- Handling other areas of Civil Litigation when required
An hourly umbrella rate of
up to £55 dependent on experience is offered for this role.
