Locum Contracts Lawyer – Full Time - Remote – Up to £60 per hour Umbrella Venn Group’s specialist Public Sector Legal team is currently recruiting for a Locum Contracts Lawyer to join a well-regarded University Legal team in Greater Manchester, on an interim basis.
Role Details: Position: Locum Contracts Lawyer
Working Arrangement: Full Time, Remote working (with office attendance for equipment collection and return)
Duration: Aug – Oct 26
Rate: Up to £60 per hour umbrella
Duties may include:- Provide expert legal advice across a broad range of areas, including commercial, corporate, and governance matters
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of contracts and agreements including:
- Partnership and collaboration agreements, Joint ventures and franchise arrangements, International and apprenticeship-related agreements - Support the University in legal compliance and risk management, delivering clear, practical guidance
- Advise on when to engage external legal counsel and manage those relationships effectively
Essential Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor
- Experience in contracts working with a Higher Education environment
