Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension thereafter
Working Pattern: Full or Part Time hours can be considered
Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote, with occasional Court attendance when required
Hourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella
The ideal candidate will have at experience in handling Regulatory and Litigation matters in Local Authority.
Duties may include:
- Managing and handling banning orders within Magistrates Court
- Advising on Housing Law & ensuring council decisions (e.g., intentionality, priority need, suitability of accommodation) comply with legislation and case law
- Preventing Litigation & conducting internal reviews of homelessness decisions to resolve cases before they go to court
- Handling Property Tribunal matters and debt recovery
