Locum Prosecutions Lawyer – 3 Months + – Remote Working – £55 per hour Umbrella – South West

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Prosecutions Lawyer to join a reputable South West Local Authority. This position is offered for an initial term of 3 months, with any extensions to be agreed thereafter.

This is a full time position, to start as soon as possible. Fully remote working is available for the duration of the role.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with prior experience working within Local Government. This role involves handling a varied caseload with a focus on regulatory and enforcement work, to include judicial reviews, public protection, housing, planning control and trading standards matters. Knowledge of general civil litigation law is beneficial but not essential.

An hourly rate of up to £55 per hour Umbrella is offered for this position dependent on experience.
