Locum Information Governance Specialist

6 months +

Hybrid and Remote Working

Full or Part-time hours considered

About the Role:

Sellick Partnership is looking for an Information Governance Specialist to join a local government team on a hybrid or remote working basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and respectable in-house legal team.

Key Responsibilities of an Information Governance Specialist:

  • Helping to manage the information governance team
  • Dealing with a range of policies, systems, and processes
  • Advise and provide instruction in relation to Data Protection Impact Assessments
  • Investigate data breach incidents, and reporting to the ICO where necessary

Desirable Skills and Requirements of an Information Governance Manager:

  • Looking for someone with significant PQE within information governance who has operated at a strategic level
  • Previous experience managing a team of information governance officers
  • Previous experience working in the public sector would be desirable
  • Monthly attendance is desirable
