Job Description:

Role: Childcare Paralegal - Legal Team (Remote, Temporary)
Location: North West England (Remote)
Contract: Temporary - Initial 3 Months

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced Childcare Paralegal to join a busy Legal Team within a Local Authority in North West England on a fully remote, temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual with recent children's law experience, ideally within public law childcare matters, to join a supportive legal team and make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Solicitors with a caseload of childcare matters
  • Requesting disclosure and collating relevant case documentation
  • Liaising with external parties to obtain evidence and court documents
  • Attending meetings and taking accurate minutes
  • Providing high-quality administrative and legal support to the wider team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Paralegal, ideally within a local authority setting
  • Recent experience within childcare/public law matters
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities within a remote working environment
