Job Description:

Interim Legal Admin Assistant (Childcare Law) – 3 months + - Full Time – Up to £20-25 per hour – Midlands
 
Venn Group are supporting a well-regarded Local Authority in the  Midlands with the recruitment of a Legal Admin Assistant to join their Childcare Team within Legal Services.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator to join a busy, supportive team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day service operations.
 
This role can be worked predominantly remote working with one day per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support across Legal Services
  • Maintain accurate electronic and manual records, including legal files and case management systems
  • Coordinate diaries, arrange meetings and take clear, concise minutes
  • Supporting the Childcare Paralegals within the team
  • Handle all court bundling with the Council’s internal software
About You:
  • Previous experience working in administration role within a Legal Office environment (this can be a Local Authority, Law Firm or In-house Legal Team)
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working with financial data and following processes
  • Ability to manage workload independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems
