Child Protection Lawyer to join a
Large Local Authority on an interim basis. Please see details below:
Location: Remote working
Duration: 6 months initial contract
Hours: Full-time ideally
Rate: £50-55 per hour, umbrella (up to £60ph DOE)
IR35: Inside
- Providing specialist childcare services and policy advice with a particular emphasis on the conduct of public law litigation for the protection of children
- Providing legal services in respect of childcare law, including all negotiations on behalf of the Council as may be necessary prior to the issue of public law proceedings and issue of proceedings
- Instructing counsel and specialist advocates where appropriate.
- Supporting strategic decision-making across the Children’s Services directorate
This role is
fully remote. Advocacy is
not required for this role.
