Prosecutions Lawyer Salary: £45-£55 per hour – Negotiable DOE
Contract Length: 3-6-month initial contract
West Yorkshire Local AuthorityHybrid Working Key Responsibilities- Advise enforcement teams on appropriate enforcement and prosecution options.
- Review and assess evidence, ensuring cases meet the Code for Crown Prosecutors.
- Provide guidance on case preparation, amendments, and evidential requirements.
- Conduct advocacy in the Magistrates’ Court and attend Crown Court hearings as instructing solicitor.
About You
- Be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FCILEx.
- Have strong experience in criminal prosecution work.
- Be confident undertaking advocacy in the Magistrates’ Court.
