Senior Commercial Contracts and Procurement Solicitor
 
Salary: £300-£400 per day – Negotiable DOE
Contract Length: 3-6-month initial contract
London Borough Council
Fully Remote
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a substantial and complex caseload of commercial contracts and procurement matters.
  • Advise on procurement legislation, Council Procurement Rules, partnerships, and externalisation models.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalise contracts for works, services, supplies, and grant agreements.
  • Advise on and manage contractual disputes and claims, including those arising from building contracts.
 
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX Lawyer in England & Wales.
  • Significant post-qualification experience in commercial contracts and procurement law.
  • Strong knowledge of public sector procurement legislation and contract law.
  • Experience handling high-value, complex commercial matters.
