Principal Property & Planning Lawyer Salary: £350-£400 per day – Negotiable DOE
Contract Length: 3-6-month initial contract
London Borough CouncilHybrid Working Key Responsibilities- Acting as the lead legal specialist on planning and property matters, including landlord & tenant issues, easements, wayleaves, enfranchisement, leasehold extensions, and right-to-buy transactions.
- Advising on planning agreements (S106/S278), Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), highways agreements, and compulsory purchase orders.
About You
- Be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with significant experience in planning and/or property law.
- Have strong experience working within local government or advising public sector clients.
