Locum Civil Litigation Legal Officer on a full-time basis.
The RoleThe successful candidate will manage a
mixed civil litigation caseload, with a strong emphasis on
debt recovery matters. The role sits within a supportive legal services team and requires the ability to handle files independently while working collaboratively with internal departments.
Key Responsibilities- Managing a varied civil litigation caseload
- Handling debt recovery litigation from pre-action through to conclusion
- Drafting pleadings, legal documentation, and correspondence
- Providing clear and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders
- Attending court and hearings where required
About You
- Demonstrable experience in civil litigation
- Debt recovery experience highly desirable
- Previous local authority experience advantageous but not essential
- Confident working autonomously and managing competing deadlines
