About the Role
Our in-house legal team plays a crucial role in enabling the Council’s vision. As we move through significant local regeneration and change, we’re looking for motivated and pragmatic Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives to provide clear, effective, and solution-focused legal advice.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to manage a busy workload and work well under pressure
  • Flexible, proactive approach to supporting organisational priorities
  • Strong commitment to high-quality, practical legal advice
There are three roles available which will focus on a mix of litigation, contract and property work as well as information governance. While experience in local government is an advantage, we equally value a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a proactive approach.
