Job Description:

Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer – East of England Local Authority

A local authority in the East of England is seeking an experienced Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer to join their legal team on an interim basis.

This is a 6-month contract with a start date in the next 4 weeks. The role will be predominantly remote, with only infrequent office attendance required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of housing litigation matters

  • Possession proceedings

  • Anti-social behaviour cases

  • Injunctions and related housing enforcement work

  • Advising housing teams and representing the council where required

Key details:

  • 6-month initial contract

  • Predominantly remote working

  • Infrequent office attendance in the East of England

  • Start within the next 4 weeks

  • Competitive daily rate
