Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – 2.5 days per week – 3 to 6+months- Up to £60 per hour (Umbrella)
 
Venn Group’s specialist Legal Team are recruiting for an experienced Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer to support a Local Authority on an initial 4 to 6 month assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial specialist to join a well-regarded legal team on an interim basis.
 
Role Details

• Duration: Initial 3-6 months with extensions agreed thereafter
• Working Pattern: 2.5 days per week (18.5 hours), remote working – ability to attend the office on occasion is desirable
• Rate: Up to £60 per hour (Umbrella)
• Start: ASAP

 
Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional and commercial advice to various Council departments and external clients on a range of routine and complex commercial contracts, procurement matters and other bespoke commercial arrangements
• Manage a caseload of commercial contracts and procurement matters of a complex nature, advise and prepare documents in relation to the supply of goods, services, and works.
• Draft and advise on bespoke and standard form documents
• Experience of JCT/construction contracts would be desirable.
