Senior Planning Lawyer - Southwark (Local Authority role)

Hourly rate negotiable - Indicate rate sought

Role can be part time or full time. 

If Full Time - 2 days office attendance per week

If Part Time - Occasional office attendance

• Significant highways experience including advising on complex Highways matters and Traffic Management Orders. 
• Section 106/278 agreements

Significant experience in dealing with complex s106 and s278 agreements Being able to provide legal expertise on highly complex issues for the council, ensuring that services are commercially focused business driven and comply with the Council’s statutory and contractual obligations. Significant experience of local government law

Comprehensive and detailed knowledge in relation to the Law in one or more of the following areas: Planning, Regeneration and Highways Experience in giving advice on good governance arrangements Desired but not necessary: giving advice and being able to attend planning committees
