We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Local Authority in the North West as an Adult Social Care Lawyer on a locum basis. The client is looking for someone to start immediately on a 4 day per week (29.6 hours) basis, the contract being for 3 months. Ideally, the successful candidate would commit to some level of office attendance; however, the client is willing to actively consider
fully remote arrangements. Offering up to £60 per hour, umbrella.
Main Responsibilities:- Handling a full caseload of Adult Social Care files
- Dealing with Court of Protection, Deprivation of Liberty, Inherent Jurisdiction and Mental Health matters
- Handle welfare applications including S.21 and S.16
- Provide general advice
