Locum Senior Contracts & Procurement Solicitor
Local Authority - West Midlands
£60-65 per hour umbrella (DOE)
Remote Working – Occasional Office Attendance 
 
Panoramic Associates are excited to be working with a large legal team within a Local Authority based in the West Midlands, who are looking for an experienced Contracts and Procurement Solicitor to join them on a full-time basis, to provide cover for a team member's maternity leave. The successful candidate will ideally join the team from 12th January! 

This role is offered on mostly remote basis with just office attendance only being required for team meetings (potentially just once per month)! 

The role will involve advising on complex commercial and procurement matters & supporting the head of the contracts and procurement team.  As a large local authority, they have an interesting range of contracts matters available!

Essential criteria:
  • A qualified Solicitor with past experience working within local government.
  • Good practical knowledge of Commercial Contracts and Procurement practices in Local Government including drafting and negotiations of commercial contracts to include IT contracts, Construction Contracts and advising on Charity/Company law matters.
  • A solid understanding of Public Sector Procurement Law
