Locum Debt Recovery Lawyer – Full Time – Remote Working – 3 months + - £60 Umbrella – South West
 

Our Local Authority client is seeking to appoint an experienced Locum Lawyer, specialising in social services debt recovery, to join its team. This is a full or part time position for an initial duration of 3 months, subject to potential extension thereafter. Fully remote working is available for the duration of the role.

The successful candidate will have strong working knowledge and experience of handling social services and adult care debt recovery matters on behalf of a local authority.

Duties may include:

  • Providing Debt Recovery advice as required and managing a full and varied case load of these types of Debt including high value Debts
  • Completing Debt Recovery negotiations in a wide range of highly complex statutory Debt Recovery cases
  • Issuing court proceedings to recover Debts, drafting court documents and undertaking enforcement proceedings against judgment debtors

 

An hourly umbrella rate of up to £60 dependent on experience is offered for this role.
